For this Litracy theme we have been assigned to do tasks about careers and this is one of the tasks First you fill the box that says About me you are supposed to write down your hobbies and your name. Then fill out the box that says people I look up to I put my step brother because he inspired me to play games and basketball. After that you say your learning goals and I really need to get beter at reading so thats what I wrote. 

Next you do a message to your family and I think that giving support all family members no mater what they do. Finaly you fill in the box that says my support team and yes this might be a little over exaggerating but I said my the phoeniox suns to help me win a nba champion. My Conprhension Question

 This week we have been doing Litracy about whatever we want its called create your own theme and I picked to do it about rapping because I love rap songs. this is my conprhension question task its where you make 3 or more questions and then make a text about your theme then you link all the websites that you got your facts from I got my facts from wikipiedia and google. The Diamond Book

For writing today we had to copy a story out of our book and paste it into a blog post. What I did well in this story is use plenty of ideas, what I need to work on is organising sentences and using punctuation.

The Diamond Book

It was a bright, frosty morning outside and Debbie went outside for a walk over the Pier, but when she got to the end of the Pier there was a book. It was not any kind of book... a diamond book! Debbie picked it up and asked everyone nearby if it was there book but no one said yes, so he took it and went back home.

When he got back home he opened the book but before he could even read a single word of it a random guy came out of nowhere and snatched it out of his hands and ran. Debbie chased him down around the block four times until Debbie got a stitch he couldn't run anymore and went back home.

Debbie couldn't sleep all night he just kept thinking about the book it was so beautiful he had an hour sleep and when he woke up he was still thinking about it so he tried to distract himself by gaming for hours, baking a cake, reading a different book, had a swim at the beach but nothing worked so he retracted his steps to where he got a stitch to see if any diamonds might of fell off the book and there was but only one. He went to sell the diamond for $1,500 but then he wanted to show off that he had a diamond and his friends didn't so he kept it and showed all of his friends.

After showing all his friends he seen the exact same guy at a park that had the book and lucky he was carrying the book with him so he sneakily followed him and took the book from his hands then he ran back home since the guy was following him he went to his house locked the door so he couldn't get in and called the cops but they were both sent to jail Debbie was sent to jail for stealing it without asking the last person on the Pier and the other guy was sent to jail because he stole it off Debbie.

Maori Callender

 

This is my blog post about my Maori calender these past weeks we have been learning about Matariki and there was a task where you had to make a calender about all the diffrent seasons and naming them in Maori. After you name all the seasons in maori you add some pictures about that season and some facts about what happens, the weather and more. This week we have been researching about the history of matariki and this is my letter to Jacinda Ardern talking about why we should cellebrate matariki. These past weeks we have been doing tasks all about the human body and this is my label of the Human brain I finished it quite fast because all you have to do is put the right names in the right places of the brain.

This is my poster and it's all about a daily workout what to eat for lunch and breakfast, there are 10 diffrent points and they all are really good ways to get fit .

Today I have finished a task it is about all the brain functions and where they are there is 5 different slides and they are all different functions of the brain it was actually quite hard it took me 2 days to finish.

Oh and if you didnt realise these past weeks we have been researching and completing tasks about the America Cup. I have done this poster of 10 diffrent ways to work together and win the America Cup.

This is my word find it was really hard one because it was about the America Cup and two to do this only because all the letters were lower case and capital but I finished this wordfind was one of the hardest wordfinds I have done in my life it took me a whole day even with a little help of jaymee.
